Does it hurt?
It is not the most comfortable treatment - a deep scratching feeling, and relatively quick. Your therapist checks your comfort throughout and adjusts if needed.
Downtime
About 24 hours of redness. No exercise for 48 hours. Mineral makeup can be worn straight after, and sunscreen the next day.
When you see results
Around the 28-day mark after a session, as new collagen builds.

Usually 4–6 treatments depending on your concern, spaced 4–6 weeks apart.

Do you use numbing cream?
No numbing cream is needed. The treatment is quick and your therapist adjusts to keep you comfortable.
Can I have it if I have rosacea?
Yes, in most cases. If you have a condition like rosacea, we build your skin up first, then treat - which is why we always consult before your first session.
Is there anyone who shouldn't have it?
We avoid treating over recent sun exposure or sunburn. Almost everyone else is suitable - we confirm at your consultation.
When can I go back in the sun?
Protect your skin with sunscreen from the day after, and avoid direct sun while it settles.
